“Winnacunnet High School (WHS) is a four-year public high school in Hampton, New Hampshire. The school is located in a small suburban setting. Students are provided a curriculum that focuses on educating the whole student by providing a flexible, engaging, and supportive environment where learning is lifelong and relevant.
A traditional slate of courses are required for graduation from Winnacunnet High School. Students must complete 110 credits from subject areas as outlined in their four-year plans.
Students planning to attend college may choose to enroll in Advanced Placement courses to prepare for more rigorous coursework at the college level and possibly earn early college credits. Based on teacher availability, up to 11 AP courses may be offered at WHS.
Winnacunnet High School also partners with Great Bay Community College and South New Hampshire University to provide its students with access to Dual Credit courses. These courses are taught on the WHS campus by qualified staff. Students earn both high school and college credits when course requirements are met.
Running Start, the program offered by Great Bay Community College, currently offers four dual credit courses. South New Hampshire University offers three.
Winnacunnet High School is accredited by the North East Association of Schools and Colleges. WHS was named a 2017–2018 New Hampshire School of Excellence.”
