The first of our sign visibilities to support pro-education candidates is this afternoon from 4 – 5:30 in Seabrook! We’re three weeks away from an immense opportunity to change the direction of public education policy here in New Hampshire and impact the course of the country as a whole. Governor Sununu and the state legislature are gearing up for another attack on public education with several new versions of Senate Bill 193, otherwise known as the “Voucher Bill.” Needless to say, this is a dire crossroads for education in our state and country. Rather than fight for the votes in the legislature, we need to fight with our votes on November 6th and change the balance in the House, Senate, Executive Council and/or the Governorship. To do that, we all have to play a role in supporting pro-education candidates and getting out the vote.
Let’s get the word out about the great candidates for state and national office who support public education! See a rep or email us for details!
